Hi, I’m Dave—founder of Pickle Yogi and passionate advocate for the power of Kundalini Yoga on and off the court. My journey with yoga began over 15 years ago, when I discovered the transformative practice of Kundalini Yoga. What started as a personal exploration quickly turned into a lifelong commitment. Today, I have the honor of serving as a volunteer yoga teacher with the Wounded Warrior Project, where I guide veterans in using Kundalini Yoga to manage anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
This practice has changed my life—and not just in the ways I expected. As a dedicated pickleball player, I discovered that daily Kundalini Yoga gave me a competitive edge that went far beyond flexibility. I stayed limber, fresh, and relatively injury-free, even during long tournaments and high-intensity matches. But the biggest shift? My nervous system. Through breathwork and meditative focus, I learned to stay calm, regulated, and centered—no matter how intense the game got. I created Pickle Yogi to share these benefits with other players, whether you’re just getting started or already a seasoned competitor. This unique combination of yoga and sport isn’t about becoming someone else—it’s about uncovering your best, most balanced self.
Whether you’re a veteran, an athlete, or someone just looking to feel better in your body and mind—Pickle Yogi is here for you. Let’s serve up something deeper than just a good game.
